How it works

A video that works in one language can reach many more people in others. Creators add audio tracks in other languages to their channels, course authors sell the same course in new markets, and companies want product videos and training in the languages of their customers and staff. Re-recording with voice actors is slow and expensive; subtitles alone are not enough for many viewers.

Dub Studio dubs your videos with AI and keeps you in control of the result. You upload a video or paste a link, choose the target languages and let the service transcribe and translate. The original speaker's voice is used as the model for the dubbed voice, so the video still sounds like you, and different speakers stay different.

Before any audio is generated, you see the translated script line by line next to the original. You can fix names, product terms and phrasing, or mark words that must not be translated. A glossary keeps your terms consistent across all your videos.

Dubbed lines are fitted to the length of the original lines, so the video does not drift and the speaker's pauses stay where they were. Background music and sound effects are kept under the new voice.

When the result is ready, you can export the dubbed video, a separate audio track for platforms that support multiple audio languages, and subtitles in each language. You keep the original and can re-export after further edits.

Minutes are counted by the length of the source video per language. Unused minutes carry over within the plan period.

Teams can share a workspace with a common glossary, so all videos of a company use the same terms in every language.

A typical project looks like this. You upload a finished video in the evening and choose two or three languages. The next morning the transcript and translations are ready for review. You spend a few minutes on names and terms, approve, and the dubbed versions are generated. You check one of them, export, and upload the new audio tracks to your channel or course platform.

For channels with a back catalog, older videos can be dubbed in batches, so a library of tutorials becomes available in new languages within weeks instead of months.

You must hold the rights to the videos you dub and to the voices used. We do not use your videos or voice to train models for others.
